Solving large optimization problems with the AMPL workbench
Using the AMPL optimization modeling lifecycle workbench to solve problems for the chairs research topics. The software needs a commercial license and a running license manager on the bwForCluster. It consists of several optimization engines (Cplex, Gurobi, Knitro, Xpress). Cooperation for software configuration and choosing the right node sizes. Coordinating with the AMPL support to keep the software operational (after Spectre/Meltdown patches on the cluster AMPL needed a specific update).
