E-Science-Tage 2027: Call for Contributions Now Open

The E-Science-Tage 2027 will take place from 3 to 5 March 2027 under the theme "Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges", both in person at Heidelberg University and online. The Call for Contributions has been open since July 2026.

The E-Science-Tage are an interdisciplinary conference series dedicated to research data management and Open Science, offering a wide range of opportunities for professional exchange between researchers, infrastructure providers and technical experts. We welcome research-oriented contributions, best-practice examples, and case studies that address the conference theme and one or more of the following topics:

  • Data lifecycle, quality assurance & sustainability
  • Open Science & transparency
  • Technical infrastructures & standards
  • Law, ethics & security
  • Institutional strategies
  • Artificial intelligence
  • Impact & transfer
  • Insights from research practice

Registration for participation will open in October/November 2026. Parts of the scientific programme will be streamed to an online audience, while in-person participation offers numerous opportunities to exchange ideas and network with research data management stakeholders from across Germany.
