From June 10th to June 12th, 2025, the ISC opened its doors in Hamburg. The event centered on the integration of high-performance computing (HPC) with artificial intelligence and quantum computing, with the goal of bridging gaps in scientific research, engineering, and business applications.

Negotiations between the universities and MathWorks regarding a possible extension of the agreement beyond 2026 are currently ongoing. At present there is no confirmed outcome regarding a renewal.

The E-Science-Tage are an interdisciplinary conference series on the topics of research data management and open science - with a wide range of opportunities for professional exchange between science and technology.

Freiburgs new Supercomputer Advances Neuroscience, Elementary Particle Physics, Microsystems Technology, and Materials Science

The 10th bwHPC Symposium, the premier event for High Performance Computing (HPC) in Baden-Württemberg, was hosted at the University of Freiburg on September 25 and 26, 2024.

The 10th bwHPC Symposium will take place on September 25th and 26th in Freiburg.
